Psychological factors play an important role in the development, sustainability, and treatment outcomes of cancer. This study aimed to predict anxiety sensitivity based on secure and insecure attachment styles in adolescents with cancer. The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational. The study population consisted of adolescents with cancer in Isfahan City, Iran. Research samples were selected by convenience sampling method (N=150). To collect data, Hazan and Shaver Attachment Styles in Adults Inventory and Wong Death Attitude Inventory were used. Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient and Enter method of Multiple Regression. The results showed that secure, avoidant, and ambivalent attachment styles could significantly predict fear of death in adolescents with cancer, and in general, 26 percent of the changes in fear of death were explained by attachment styles.:In general, the results of this research showed that the fear of death can be predicted based on attachment styles in adolescents with cancer.
